Meva Energy Secures 500 Million SEK Deal

Molindo proudly announces a major achievement for Meva Energy, one of our portfolio companies, as it signs a 500 million SEK agreement with Elcowire, a European leader in copper wire manufacturing. This 15-year deal marks Meva Energy’s largest contract to date, solidifying its position as a key player in industrial energy solutions.

Transforming Copper Production

Elcowire’s Helsingborg facility will receive 9 MW of renewable hot biogas from Meva Energy, enabling it to transition away from fossil fuels in its copper melting process. This collaboration is the first of its kind, with Elcowire setting a global precedent in the copper industry.
